has earned its status through
its long history and fine
reputation as an institution

Originally opened at 84 ½ Wall
Street in 1934 by Joseph St.
John who came to America from
Greece in 1925, the Owl Shop
began originally as a bookstore. Joseph
was also selling tobacco and mixing his own blends and
soon tobaccos and tobacco accessories were the
